= Gifting Ideas That Aren’t Boring=

Yeah you could get a normal gift,

BUT WE AIN'T ABOUT
TO BE BORING

It’s time to change gifting in Malaysia!

Okay in all honesty normal gifts are good, I love them myself! But I wanna let you know that buying a gift in a box isn’t your only option!

Got a friend who likes adventure? Maybe a family member that needs a vacation or a massage? Whatever it is they need you can be the one to gift it to them! YOLO has a whole selection of experiences to choose from all across Malaysia! If you find something they might like, just drop in their email on checkout and we’ll help send them a ticket of sorts for them to redeem!

If they wanna do something else for whatever reason, that’s no worry too! They can just exchange it for something. It’s a new and fun way to gift someone memories and a fun time, so why not give it a shot? Here’s some of our recommendations!

We’ve got a flying sim

So send your friend for take off!

I remember as a kid I used to play Ace Combat a lot and it cultivated my love for flying! Now I work in an office telling stories like this for a living, but I would’ve absolutely loved to fly a plane, even in a simulator.

So imagine my surprise when I found out about Simflight KL and the stuff they do! They have a simulator that’s usually used to familiarize pilots with the control and behaviour of an Airbus A320, similar to the ones used in Air Asia’s fleet, and they just allow access for anybody to take part!

If you have a friend who’s an aviation nut, then trust me they’ll be incredibly happy to know what you got for them if you choose to gift this. I really recommend it.

Enjoy a peaceful sensory deprivation

No noises, no distractions, just relaxation

The person you’re gifting for might be a doctor that’s constantly on call, or maybe they’re working in a business that involves a lot of traveling. The main point I’m trying to make is that they’ve already got lives full of hustle and bustle. Sometimes fun and adventurous, but tiring nonetheless. So maybe instead of gifting them a rigorous activity, why not treat them to a rare moment of peace and relaxation?

Float Pause offers a sensory deprivation tank, one that’s filled with salt water to help you float and is completely isolated from noises and lights, letting you truly be one with yourself and relax. No lights, no noises, no weight, no distraction. Just pure, uninterrupted relaxation.

Does your friend like horses?

Here’s a horse riding center that’s friendly on your wallet!

We don’t have to be a handsome ghost to be romantic you know? Pottery is absolutely underrated when it comes to having fun. Most people think it’s just manual labor, plain & simple, when in reality being able to make a beautiful piece of your own (or in this case, with your partner) is incredibly enjoyable and rewarding. It’s definitely a very out-there choice when it comes to date ideas, so why not give it a shot?

Is your friend into sightseeing?

Maybe a night tour in KL will suit their fancy!

Okay let’s be real for a moment: KL’s walkability is nowhere near the same quality as a place like Tokyo for example, so getting around on foot is difficult. It doesn’t help that our weather is absolutely BRUTAL during the day. So if your friend is into sightseeing, what should he do?

Well I recommend that you look into gifting him KL Hop-on Hop-off’s night tour of KL! During my time with them their buses have always been on time, and you’ll get to see all of the most iconic KL landmarks while sitting up top on the bus’ open canopy! And because it’s at night, no searing sun to burn your skin off! It’s an all round great experience, one we think your friend will really appreciate.
